How to Use:

Circle Up: Have every student get in a circle. It’s important that every student is on the same level—either ALL on the floor, ALL standing, or ALL in chairs. This includes the teacher!
Introduce the Theme: Show the students the theme of the week and discuss what it means.
Greeting Slide: Display the Greeting slide at the beginning of your Morning Meeting. Read the directions, give an example, and have your students greet each other. Ensure each student is greeted by NAME.
Share Slide: Move on to the Share slide and complete the prompt or write your own with the editable slide. Use a talking piece, such as a ball or stuffed animal, to pass along as each student shares. If a student doesn’t want to share, they can say, “Pass.” No pushing!
Activity Slide: Proceed to the Activity slide. Some activities may continue to the next day. These include games or SEL activities. Ensure every student participates—no opting out.
Message Slide: End with the Message slide. Use the editable slides to type a message that pertains to your students. For example, you can write about upcoming events, birthday celebrations, or changes in plans/routines.
